In these final moments before you start playing Dying Light 2, you might have some big questions, and we're going to try and answer them now. You might be wondering, does the game have character creation? Well, no, it doesn't – you'll be playing as a pre-defined male hero called Aiden, but you will be able to kit him out in plenty of different outfits.
Or you may be asking yourself, just how big is the Dying Light 2 map size? It's more than six square kilometres, according to the developers, which should allow for plenty of side quests and discoverable locations in the classic open-world gaming mould. Or if you're asking, wait, is Rosario Dawson in this game? The answer to that one is yes! But you won't meet her character until you're a few hours into the game.
The Dying Light 2 Metacritic score is currently sitting at 77 for PS5, 79 for PC and 78 for Xbox Series X, if you were wondering about that, but those scores could change as more reviews pile in for the game.
Keep on reading as we attempt to answer even more of your questions as the Dying Light 2 release date nears.
Can you pre-order Dying Light 2?

- £199.99 for the Collector's Edition
Amazon looks to have sold out of the PC version, but you can could buy a Dying Light PC code from CD Keys for the very tempting price of £39.99. Or if you want the Deluxe Edition, that would set you back £64.99 from CD Keys.
Is the Dying Light 2 Deluxe Edition worth it? Well, that's a matter of opinion, but we can tell you that it comes with a Legendary outfit, weapon skin and paraglider as well as some exclusive weapon charms.
As for the eye-wateringly expensive Dying Light 2 Collector's Edition, that one includes a steelbook, a map of the city, a special statuette and a UV lamp as well as the aforementioned Legendary items and some other digital content. That being said, we reckon that only the most hardcore fans will opt for that level of investment.

This one we have a definitive answer to: no, Dying Light 2 will not be coming to Xbox Game Pass, at least not for the time being. How big is the Dying Light 2 day-one patch file size?
